The Committee also accepted the unanimous proposal made by the Sikh representatives that the following classes in East Punjab namely Mazhabis, Ramdasias, Kabir Panthis and Sikligars who suffer the same disabilities as other members of the scheduled castes, should be included in the list of scheduled castes so that they would get the benefit of representation given to scheduled castes. ਭਾਵ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਰਬ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਹ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਠ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਭਾਵ ਮਜ਼ਬੀ, ਰਾਮਦਾਸੀਏ, ਕਬੀਰ ਪੰਥੀ ਤੇ ਸਿਕਲੀਗਰ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਕੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਦਿਕਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਸ਼ਡੂਲਡ ਕਾਸਟ ਦੀ ਲਿਸਟ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਡੂਲਡ ਕਾਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਰਿਆਇਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਭ ਉਠਾ ਸਕਣ |
